On Friday, January 25, 2019 The Winston School San Antonio is hosting its 29th Annual Learning Symposium, the region’s leading event of its kind, presenting the latest information and ideas on childhood learning, development and education. This year’s theme is Child Development in a Digital World. Keynote Speaker, Dr. Kavari Subrahmanyam, will present “Growing Up Digital: Is Living, Learning and Communicating with Technology Transforming Youth Development?”
Located in San Antonio, Texas, the Winston Annual Learning Symposium attracts over 400 educators, parents, physicians and other community specialists who gather to hear informative presentations from leaders in their respective fields. Nine additional breakout sessions will cover: ADHD, Technology & Social Development, Marketable Tech Skills, Robotics/ STEAM, Technology in the Classroom, Social Media, Educational Tech, Technology and Dyslexia, and the Effects of Video Gaming. There is also a 3-hour Ethics Panel discussion on Raising Digital Citizens. CEU and CME credits are available for this event.
