Championship Debate 2013

This year’s eighth graders presented a memorable Championship Debate to their peers and parents in Ellison Hall on May 15. Given recent school tragedies, the topic was an emotive and sensitive one, a fact that precluded the attendance of the lower school boys. Nonetheless, the debaters did an accomplished job with a complex and difficult issue, both sides showing that they had clearly delved deeply into a wide range of articles and studies on the role of guns in American culture.
